how to reset saab 9-5 arc theft alarm

I have removed the theft alarm module and replaced the batteries. I am still getting the service theft alarm message. Now i wonder how to reset the alarm?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Is this true? It has to actually be reset? I've recently run into the same issue, except I had my BatteryPlus solder my batteries on my alarm earlier this summer, and it wasn't until just recently (Beg of Dec) that the SID warning started, and even an occasional 5 second warning. So ... why didn't I have to reset it at a dealership?
