2006 H3 accelorator pedal

I have a 2006 hummer and it just started ticking like a time bomb from my  gas pedal. I think its coming from the sensor just above the pedal. It does it all the time accept when I go over 50 mph. No idiot lite comes on...... what is it?

I found the answer...its called a door blend actuator. Its a little box under the dash,,,to the right of the top of the gas pedal. It opens and closes the door for the heater.
