Isn't Saab out of business in the USA? GM dealer?

There are other choices for you besides the stealers. There ere some locksmiths that can do the key on the spot. Also if you have someone with a Tech 2 and Security Acces all you need is an CIM with the key and have it "transplanted" to your car. I do those about one every week. Also you can send the CIM to few places that can read it and program a key without the vehicle present. One of those places is called www.lostsaabkeys.com.
REMUSQUATTRO, Can you tell me who can do the cim alternative on my 2005 Saab 93. Thank you in advance as I've lost my only fob. Tracy Deible
Also lost keys to my SAAB 9-3 and found one guy New York, he made me the key by CIM module.
I need new key. Chip for saab 2003 9-3 linear
Dear Masterkey team Your help is needed. Dear Saab spare parts specialist Hope you are well. I'm emailing you from Johannesburg South Africa: clivev@pinpointone.co.za; mobile number: 0823718303 or 082 4558023 I have lost both keys to a Saab 9.3 2.0 T Linear Convertible (Auto), Silver. I cant find any of the keys. The key was in a Fob. My understanding is that to start the car I need the fob as it has a chip which is the ignition for the car. The car was open. The locksmith has removed the lock in the boot but he cannot develop/create a key to start the car. Now we are at a loss. How can we either produce a new fob with the chip or do we change all the locks so we can at least use the car. At the moment I cant use it. The Saab was purchased in 2005 on 1 August 2005 in Johannesburg, South Africa at the Sandton Saab dealership, corner Main Roaf & Hallifax Street, Bryanston; p O Box 3941, Cramerview 2060. The sales person was Jack Gobel. The Saab was sold to Dr Eric Nico Hefer The vehicle register number - is : FBN563S Licence number:SMY679GP Engine number: B207LCA005412310 VIN number: YS3FB79S056007559 Series name: 9-3 Convertible Driven: self propelled Vehicle description: Sedan open top National Vehicle Classification (NVC) - B113SF31405000160020030120190121 Registering authority: Johannesburg Control number: 40240474XNCM Your sincerely Clive H Viveiros
Hi Everyone, I would surely appreciate if someone can provide me with some Saab Expert help and i apologize if I don’t use all the correct Saab terminology. I have a 2008 Saab 93 Convertible and the original (2 sets) FOBs ; one is missing the metal key. I am having issues turning on my car; it basically starts when it wants to.Shop is telling me i need a new set of keys that needs to be programmed to my car. They placed the order last month and are now telling me that the keys are on National backorder. I’m in the Bronx, New York area. Does any know where I can get a set of keys to get programmed to my car a decent timeframe? Ecruzcooke@gmail.com

If all you need is the metal key you can order from multiple places using just your Vin and proof of ownership. If you have lost all keys/fobs, there are a few options. You can purchase a used matching CIM and key then have it added to the car by someone with a Tech2 or the dealer. You can also send/mail in the CIM and get a key added to it, when you get it back there is no other programming needed. If you are in need of an additional key you can use the mail in service or have someone add it that has a Tech2 or the dealer. We do these all the time, we charge $175 for the mail in service. I don't what the rules are here for sharing/selling so I will check and possibly post the information.
Hopelcanhelp...can I contact you?
Dear GuruS8XZT; How very sad with such detail you've rendered there was not one Saab employee who stood up to answer your question, I find this very alarming and quite sad. I have a question too and I'll bet just like you I'll receive no answer! Here goes nothing. Was GuruS8XZT ignored because he was from Africa and not the blessed US or even Sweden by chance?

Fraps, Nothing to do with location at all and I'm a bit offended by the "blessed US or Sweden" comment. In the past (this has happened multiple times) when people give all of that information and we responded it turned into an attempted scam against us. So unfortunately because of a few bad eggs we no longer enter into any transactions unless we feel comfortable.
I lost my key fob and metal key... Who do I contact to do the mail in?
Guru9DY7MK answered 4 years ago
Fraps, that statement is ignorant as fuck... location has nothing to do with an answer given. If you had any knowledge whatsoever you would know that scams frequently are perpetrated from that area and obviously I'd he has all of that information and cant find what he's looking for something is fishy. Shove your race baiting bullshit up your ass douchebag
Guru9DY7MK answered 4 years ago
For anyone who has their fob still you can just get a new ignition that comes with new key fobs and you just take the little chip under the rubber on the back of the fob and place it in the new fob and replace the ignition piece and it will start your car due to that chip already being matched to start your car. My buddy just did the with some fobs he got from someone else and they turn his car on.
Guru9DY7MK answered 4 years ago
The metal key is only to unlock doors. If anyone lost their fob you will need to get a new ignition module that should come with new fobs of which you need to find someone who can use tech2 and program the chip to fit your car. People saying a locksmith can donit are idiots. Its the fob that starts the car not the metal key
Guru9DY7MK: Obviously the ANSWER you spoke of came AFTER the question (please pay attention). You sound pretty irate over my question in which I feel should not have been commented on by some fly by night troll. Also I might add scams are from ALL countries NOT just Africa and yes indeed I am totally aware of the scams perpatrated on innocent people. As well, my paternal grandparents are both natives of Sweden and I am a native of the U.S. Okay? AHEM, one more thing if I may...? Clearly you seem to be in dire need of some type of anger management, please for the sake of both your family and friend(s?) you really should seek help as soon as conveniently possible. Best Regards
