Sounds like a new battery is in order. I have a 2008 and had the same issue. I opened the battery caps and the fluid was very low. I added some distilled water and jumped it. Lasted another month or so but I wouldn't take a chance with the winter coming.
Check that your transmission selector is in Park. If its not the vehicle wont start. If it is , then its likely the neutral safety switch has failed.
