No not running hot but runs about 10 minutes after i turn it off

2012 Chevy equinox base model. 4 cylinder. Radiator fan won't shut off. Need to manually unplug from under the hood

I have a 2010 chevy equinox, kilometers 160,00, took a 10 min drive, radiator fan was still running after I shut off engine n took key out? Why would it need to cool itself out on such a short ride?

05 equinox here, 30 degrees outside and mine just did it for 5 minutes. Problem is, its never done it before, even during the summer time so why now?
