remove the fuel lines out of the fittings of the fuel pump and then unscrew the two side screws out of the fuel pump and pull back and remove pump. put a pencil on the fuel hoses to retain the escape of fuel.

CFI or Carb'd? CFI is a bit harder, as you've got a retaining ring you need to hammer out. Take a large screwdriver, set it on the retaining ring, tap it gently with a hammer, it should start to rotate. Once it rotates enough, you can pull it out, then just gently pull the electric pump out of the tank. Carb'd? Close off the lines, undo the two bolts. Remember to coat the pump-arm with assembly lube when you put it back in.
