Hi, I have a 2002 ford explorer that is also stuck in 4x4 high and makes sound when turning sharp! Did you find out what is causing this? Thanks: Reed

Did any of you tried to tap the tansfercase motor and select the auto button instead while its on neutral (you need two people). Mine is stuck on 4x4 low, I removed the fuses (17&18) for now but last night but did not drive yet.
