Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I drove through flooded road and my 2003 ford
explorer died and wouldn't start. Had it tolled back
to my house. When I try to start it all it does is
click. What would be wrong with it?

How high was the water? Are all the electronics working? When you attempt to start it, is it a single click, or multiple rapid clicks? IF you get a single click AND all of your electronics are exhibiting normal behavior, you may have hydrolocked the engine. The very first thing you'll want to do is have a mechanic remove the spark plugs and spin the engine over. Any skilled mechanic will know where to go from there.
The starter probably got wet, may have a problem with the starter now, should have it checked. Try tapping on the starter with a hammer when trying to start it.
