02 Chevy Tahoe sometimes will turn over but wont start will always eventually start though

Does this occur when the engine is cold? I had same issue, where in the morning or after long periods of sitting throughout the day my Tahoe was slow to start but if it was already running and still warm it starts right up. CHECK THE FUEL PUMP.
