Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Hi, i own a 2001 Chevy Tahoe, i'm located in France.
I have to replace brake system. I allready have new rotors, pads but i received single piston calipers and mine seems to be dual ones. Does it maters? Can it fit any way or should i have to change them for dual pistons?

I would stick with the original ones. You shouldn't need new calipers unless one of the pistons has seized up. If calipers are working properly, I would put the old ones back on. New rotors and pads should be sufficient. Why are your replacing the entire system?

Thks Reelin, previous owner didn't take care at all, pads were so used that pistons suffered and the system became dangerous
Got it. In that case I would replace the calipers like you are doing.
