No interior lights

Asked by BobKaare Nov 02, 2015 at 05:51 PM about the 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have no interior light at all. Checked the fuses, they all seems fine. All other
electric seems alright. I have previously replaced the main headlight switch. I
think it was the interior dimmer that burned out that time. Has anybody had
the same problem and resolved the issue by replacing the headlight switch?

Have been looking around for parts, and found that there maybe a problem with relays. Have anybody any experience this?

Check the 15A CTSY LP fuse in the underhood junction block. There should be battery voltage. After that, try replacing the INADV PWR relay and CTSY LP relay in the I/P fuse block. Either one can knock out the courtesy lighting.
