This happen to me today..... A red lighting bolt was flashing on the dash. My truck would not rev and go faster. It seem as if hitting on the gas pedal did not make the truck run..... It kept itself at a minimum average speed of 35-40mph. It end up being the throttle body. You see what going on with this newer models. They don't have the same concept like the older model vehicle have. Where you can open the hood and pull on the throttle body string to accelerate the engine. Well this newer vehicle are equiped with an electric throttle body. So when you hit the gas pedal. They computer is not getting the signal that your are pressing on the gas pedal. In that case it's idel-ing on its own.
