When battery replaced, why did factory installed 6 disc CD playerstop working?

3/2013 - Ford dealer replaced battery. Picked up car. 6 disc factory CD player tries to scan for CD when any door opens, remote lock/unlock performed, trunk opens. Ends up saying "CD Error". Attempt to load CD searches, "CD initilizing". No CDs in player. CD was working prior to this. Returned to Dealer. Sat in car to watch. Said it's broken. You'll need to replace. Have found other Ford model with same issues, yet no answers provided.

Whenever moving parts are involved, there will be trouble, that's why we no longer have distributors or speedometer cables anymore...they figured it out! now with the CD, this is like 1981 technology, and to have NO MOVING parts mp3 files has become even more popular as the notion of having no moving parts=nothing can fail is catching on....finally! Do away with the troublesome CD unit, transfer all to mp3 and get rid of those darned things!
