Car cranking before cranking position

2008 chevy impala ss 5.3l v8 Car was not
starting at all carried it to be checked out  
got that fixed car was starting after 2
months it went bad as I turn the key to
second position car cranks before on
position car will not start what should I
ckeck  to fix  problem
