That's 27,000 miles per year - yes that's high. Check prices in your area using edmunds.com and KBB.com

Smell the interior. if it was owned by a woman, was handled like a little kid. If it was owned by a man, it was SLAMMED around....think about it. Also smell the exhaust. If your shnooker is built like mine it has an exellent spectral analysis built right in. yours probably does to. Just sniff a chevy belair's exhaust, then a honda's exhaust for comparison-
In my opinion, I think the mileage is a bit too high....It's a 5 year old car with an average of 27,000 miles per year (I think normal average/year is around 15,000 miles or so = 75,000 miles for an 5 year old car). Also, the Nissan Versa isn't really an exceptional car...it's a VERY mediocre econobox. I LIKE Nissans, but I just think this car is a DUD! I feel the EXACT same way about the Nissan Cube (boxy and boring).

It is possible to handle a car delicately for 100,000 miles, so you cannot tell it from a BRAND NEW one. My wif'e's toyota PRIUS is this way. If you handle your machine deiicately it will last. If you're playin' it like a line of scrimmage 49er, break a few bones while your at it, it will not survive this duty too long. Personally have been impressed with the Nissans and will give them a strong eight, Toyota being a nine.
too high for what? the life of this model,to high for the price or the avg. of 14k a yr. avg. miles drivin? never owned one myself but i do know when in school we were higher than our grades
