My saab 93 sports wagon ttdi has 18inch rims with continental tyres. Its being into the locl dealer and he says loosing 1 lb of air out of tyres a week is acceptable. I had sim;erwheels on a Audi a4 and never lost any air. Dose antbody else have this problem.

I had this problem on a Pontiac, certain alloys just tend to lose air over time. That being said, if the tire is mounted properly on the rim and the proper solution is used it will not lose air as fast. Every time we got a new set of tires put on the rate the air pressure dropped was different and some times they didn't leak at all.
