I have a 2008 Jeep Liberty Limited, when I have the transmission in park and ideling the heat stops producing hot air, it blows cold. Is this normal or is there some kind of issue?

Verify that your cooling system is topped off. Easiest way to do this is to view the overflow/expansion tank for the coolant system. There will be a "full" line. http://www.ehow.com/how_2191692_check-engine-coolant-level.html
