Somehow we've lost both of our Smart keys at different times. I have no idea where it disappeared to but we have young kids so likely the last one was at the hands of one of them. Anyway, if I have only a valet key cut, will it start the car or does it need to be programmed as well? Not having much luck finding out with Google.

Tuesday at my friend's house my car wouldn't start and it wasn't turning over at all. The AAA guy tried several things and he tried to start it by just leaning over the seat from the outside of the car and it wouldn't start. So finally he got it started but said it needed a new starter, so I got home and then again, it wouldn't start. So today, being Saturday, my friend Kent came to put in a new starter and it turned over right away for him. Every time he starts it, it does start, but when I try it won't start, so we tried over and over, and we finally found that I need to put more pressure on the key in the ignition, then it won't start for me, so I leave it a little bit and try again, with much pressure on the key. But why am I having that problem now since it's been starting just fine for a long time and I never had to think about i should hold the key when starting it? 1 Answer

I have a 1998 Nissan Sentra and I recently cleaned out the carburetor using a spray cleaner. Inside the throttle body it was filthy. After I finished cleaning in and ran the car for a couple of miles and then stopped. Hello, everyone . I have a 1989 nissan sentra sudan 2 door , well I bought the car knowing it needed work . So the problem is at the part behind the rear tier isnt connected anymore wjay part number or aftermarket that would work for fixing the end ( what would I say " linkage").
