The driver's side seat is stuck in a recline position and I can't move it forward or backwards. Any help would be appreciated.

The front passenger seat as working fine until a couple of weeks ago when my daughter
went to change the seat position, it locked in a reclining (not fully) position and we can't
move it at all. This is a manual seat, not power.

There are two levers on the side...and you are using the smaller one rear of the bigger lever, right? The big one is seat bottom height and the smaller one reclines the back..just in case you didn't know already...try sitting in seat and lean back and put a little weight on the seat back and pull the smaller, rear lever up and lean back and off and wiggle the lever up and down, and have somebody push the back up, all at the same time maybe whatever is keeping it from sitting upright will release. Take a good look under the seat for anything that may have gotten under and is sticking up in to the mechanism. If all that does not work the seat may have to be taken out to see if the latch from the lever has broken or become unattached.
Thank you, I feel really dumb, she hasn't had the car very long and as you asked, we were pulling on the large bottom height lever instead of the smaller one, seat works fine.
Where can I take this to have it fixed? I'm having the same problem and it's all the way recline. Will come up but the moment you sit in the seat it goes back again.
Holy crap DavidH25, thanks! I didn't even realize there was a second lever! When I've sat in the seat, I've always pulled the correct one instinctively... but just now I was trying to get it to recline while outside the car, and it wasn't working. I thought it broke. XD Nice to know now I have that extra for height- adjustment.
