i recently bought an x type 3.0 awd and the engine cuts off at 300 revs is this safe mode as it still drives ok in all gears%3F

thats normal for some cars, its just a safety

it shouldn't be for these as they hit that when you accelerate uphill and its very underpowered and sluggish alot.
