Super quick solution - Bug spray with a high deet content. The deet will eat through the haze almost immediately. Don't use too much.. and remember it is a short term solution. Rubbing compound is also a good solution.
If the exterior of the clear plastic headlight enclosure is covered with oxidation and/or fine scratches you might try "Rust-Oleum Wipe New Headlight Restore!". It's a kit that includes Wipe New plastic restoration compound, a Lens Polishing Pad, a Pair of Nitrile Gloves and a Microfiber Towel. Depending on the condition of the plastic you may be able to get by with just an application of the proprietary Wipe New compound. The other problem that sometimes occurs is that moisture gets inside the enclosure and fogs up the inside of the plastic. In my case I have a 2007 Chevy Aveo5 with both moisture inside the enclosure and oxidation outside.
