2009 h3 won't crank

I have a 2009 h3 drove it home and went to go somewhere and it would not crank I put a new starter on it and it still does the same thing every couple of days I disconnect the batt and it cranked up fine I looked at the ignition switch and it was very hot on the part in the column any ideas

It is the GM Pass-Lock system part of the ignition switch. The only true fix for the problem is a GM dealership maintenance department Replace Ignition Switch. $450.00 and they re-flash your ECM-Electronic Control Unit (engine computer) to learn the new ignition. Or with the correct electronic gear and security clearance to have it... anyone can do it (can you say firmware update) not very hard!
