What I can say for certain is that the oil stabilizer has nothing to do with your problem. If you can drive the car, take it to an auto parts store that does free OBDII scans. It may be failure of the TIPM, or an alternator problem.
I also replaced the ac control module with one that looked identical from a salvage yard, after two days of trying every thing and having mechanics tell me they never herd of this issue, I put the old ac control module back in the car. Problem solved. except for the ac fan still wont work on high, Lesson, don't buy electrical parts at a salvage yard, pay the extra and buy new, lot less head aches and wasted time.

2010 sebring has the same from dash fan not working on high... Figured I'd leave it alone un till the other fan speeds stop working.
