Is a 2.7 l engine good in a dodge charger 2009

It's not a great engine; they're prone to timing chain problems and premature catastrophic failure. They are easier to work on in that car than they are in the front wheel drive vehicles, however.

Poor choice. Her are a few online comments..."Can't believe an engine that gets the oil changed every 3 to 4 months failed. Dodge said that the failure was probably oil sludge, it happens all the time with the 2.7 engine. Never a Dodge again in my future." - Mike B., Mokena, IL, USA READ ON LINE NOBODY LIKES THE 2.7
