Your odeometer reads how fast you are going so unless you are moving the car at idle speed, that odometer should read zero. The Tachometer reads in RPM's which is revolutions per minute for the engine speed whether moving or not as long as it's running. I would guess it should be around 550-600 at idle depending on whether it's an automatic or a manual transmission as that should make a difference. Kenny.
