A/C compressor will not kick in. What might be keeping it from engaging?

AC compressor won't kick in.  System pressure is good.  Relay is good.  
New pressure sensor installed.  Compressor still won't kick in.  Jumped the
compressor from the hot side of the relay to the power for compressor and it
ran. Initial problem was the blend door was stuck in hot.  Changed actuator.  
Still stuck.  Changed cabin HVAC controller.  Blend door worked but
compressor would not kick in.

The relay was changed. If I replaced the HVAC control on the dash would anything need to be done to make sure that it is communicating effectively with the rest of the system.

Stop monkeying around with it and take it to an A/C pro before you screw up something expensive.
