wiper transmission

how in the HECK do I get this out the local shops say " sure bring it in " I'm not about paying someone else to do what I ( might ) be able to do.
it's all original except the obvious tires,oil filter, wiper blades, nad NOT gonna be a racer

thanks but that was the wrong thing it's not the motor that needs replacing it is what I was told is called wiper arm transmission

Yes, but I believe that is the way you get access to the wiper assembly. Correct?

not sure if it was right way BUT I took off the rod end connector and got it fixed without replacing the whole wiper assembly
