I have changed the oil BUT the l.e.d. indecators still stays in the red, how do I reset the reminder ?

It's easy no drama, just ground pins 7 and 19 with a paper clip (turn key to 2nd position, do not start) for 10 secs. Here's instructions

hey matt, I did the reset except that I used a coat hanger it fit the plug perfectly and then did the shorting

Yes, I have owned eight BMWs. Four of them E30 325s.

Also I'd like to add if you hold it for more (12 seconds) it will reset the engine service interval light
