Bmw 3 series car battery warning light came up. Went to the garage and he is telling me that the problem is actually with the main intercooler turbo pipe. Is this possible? I'm surprised.please advise

If he thinks because of the inter-cooler turbo pipe is heating up the battery then yes, it could be the cause. Some vehicles have a temperature sensor at the battery for measuring heat at the battery, not sure on yours tho.
