Sputtering

Question type: General

So I have a 2011 Ford EScape and it recently has
started sputtering and even died. It does not do it
while accelerating, only when stopped or idling.
What could be the cause of this

Bad fuel? Dirty fuel filter? Dirty Mass airflow sensor? Dirty throttle body? I'd check those components first.

I had that happen. does it almost rock as you are idling? if so it has something to do with fuel distributor. Cost me 400 total part and installed.
