is the intake manifold included in the powertrain warranty?

yes it is anything attached to the motor trans is under warranty.

Well I wonder if there is a way to bring that info to the kia dealer I bought the 2011 kia sportage who diagnosed the problem and told me that specific part want covered my wife and I are the original owners it has 75,563 mi

Gay Family kia told me it is not covered. The warranty booklet does not explicitly mention the intake manifold. My check engine code was a faulty intake manifold actuator bank.

I think some were covered under recall. We're told no on our 2017 Sorento with 72k on it. Told it would have been covered under the bumper to bumper.

Sure does seem to be a significant number of continued issues for something that was a known issue in certain years and recalled.
