My 2011 Nissan Sentra (50,000 miles) has started jerking randomly while running. I already hate this car! Any ideas what could be wrong?

Is it jerking when pressing the gas pedal to get more power, at idle, or else? First, get the spark plugs verified. When was the last time your air filter has been changed? (It's probably not this be cause it has to be really clogged up to make the engine jerk. I'm asking to be sure) Is the check engine light on?

could also be dirt or fuzz on mass airflow meter.

or injectors but check spark plugs first
