Set valve lash on 1993 cadillac fleetwood 5.7

Setting a valve lash can be very delicate....too much lash and your valves will have a hard time moving.... too much slack and they will ''chatter''. If valve lash is not set properly, it can burn your valves... I learned the hard way several years ago. My suggestion would be to have this done by a professional who specializes in valve work such as a cylinder head shop.
valves are very "touchy", i wouldn't trust answers on here more than i would a chilton guide or have a professional do it... unless its a project car and u want to DIY, then grab a manual
Agreed with Robert. Usually a lash job has to be done with the pistons of that valve at TDC (Top Dead Center)... so when the heads are rebuilt (as was on my Cadillac 5.7 LT1) this is always done to ''reset'' the valves. Even IF you have a shop manual or Chilton guide...you still have to know what you're doing!
