My engine light comes on after every oil change. I use Valvoline High Mileage synthetic blend. 5w 30. I've asked a ton of people but they don't seem to think my oil choice could affect that. It seems like the obvious to me but what do I know? The code that comes on is the cam shaft position sensor. I have changed both Bank 1 and 2 twice and recently had a tune up. Could the oil that I use have anything to do with the sensor?

A reduction in oil pressure first start after the oil change can cause the MIL light to be triggered lots of wear on the engine results in reduced oil pressure. P0344 off at all other times except following oil change?

It's off all the time except for the day of my oil change or the follwing day. Most of the time it will go off after I reset and drive for a few days. It never comes on again until the next oil change.
