My battery won't hold a charge.. battery is new. What could be the problem?

Cars with computers will have a constant current drain to keep their memories alive. Cars without computers must have no drain at all unless the radio has electronic station presets and a digital clock. Even those radios draw so little current that the battery should remain charged enough to crank the engine after sitting for many months. Excessive current drain will usually result in the battery running down overnight or within a few days. Refer back to "Basics of Batteries" for a description of some preliminary tests, but to recap a few important details here, first look for corrosion buildup on the battery posts and cable clamps. That corrosion rarely forms when the battery is relatively new or still in good condition. By the time a battery gets to be around four to four and a half years old, so much lead has flaked off the plates that the current going in to recharge it has a greater undesirable heating affect on the lead that's left. That leads to increased bubbling or "gasing". Those bubbles splatter up on the underside of the top of the battery case and some of the electrolyte works its way out between the case and posts. Working on a Chrysler Dodge 300 touring...It has been draining the battery in say three hours Dead in morning if leave terminal on battery.... Friend dropped it off Plus thinking may have been messing with the Radio wire which in tail has a remote antenna so using multi Gage to measure current ... Starting from the ground wire off then proceeded to measure each fuse individual plus as car is off completely ground cable off there's still current going through some indeed I'm sure the computer draws some current but not enough to drain the battery Like this... Anyone have a 300 with the same or similar .....plus was like one the speaker's was making a god awful noise so cut the speaker wire plus for shits n giggles measured the speaker wires and had close to 8 Volt's going through it... I'm having constant power to my fuse panels on my 06 300c and its causing a hassle i cant track down whats causing this neither can the shop they said it was the stereo but i still have constant power when keys are out and stereo is disconnected

Any help would be obliged
