I Pull the handle inside my Chryler 300 to raise the hood. It makes a release type sound but the hood does not move. I cannot life the hood at all after that. What do I do now?

does the hood latch down all the way when you push it down there is a latch handle in the front of the hood to keep it from flying up when you are driving

Have someone pull up on the hood as you pull the release ,,, then after you release the secondary latch to get the hood open determine if the release spring or cable is broken

I have a 2014 chrysler 300. I work a lot and so have to sleep in my car somedays to get some sleep at all. Anyways, I went to sleep in my backseat today. As far as I know I did not leave any electronics on and car was powered off. When I awoke I unlocked the doors with my door unlock button on my driver's side door and got out. Didn't think anything because I do this 5 days a week. Now I don't know if it's a battery issue or what...my car will do absolutely nothing except allow me to pop the hood and the gas cap now. 2 Answers

Is it a battery issue you think? As far as I know I didn't leave anything on. My fobs won't do anything to my car. My windows won't operate.
