Wipers Stopped Working

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Hello, my wipers suddenly wont turn on, at all. The washer fluid works though. Tried swapping out the fuse with a like-amped fuse, still wont work.
Any idea what can be causing this? I think there is a motor for each wiper, doubt both failed at the same time, unless are these motors in series?
No noises when wiper switch is in on position. 2012 Ford Focus SE

I believe it’s the motor that pushes the wipers. I would find a local honest mechanic to change it out. But you could go to your local car parts store to buy it because some mechanics will try to make money on the part

@ Ed Thanks, they started working again, just came on by themselves high speed and now seem to be working again. Although will be a safety issue because I cannot have them just stop working whenever they feel like it! Obviously not the motor now, or the fuse, you think it's possible it is a switch or a moisture problem now?

I had the same thing happen and I saw this solution on another forum and I gave it a try the actual cause of the problem is the negative battery terminal Wire which has a current sensor on it which gets corroded. A new battery lead cost me about $45 from rockauto.com and I was able to replace it myself I only needed a 10 mm wrench for the battery terminal and a half inch socket for the bolt that connects the lead wire to the frame of the car. Once I replaced the wire with the sensor attached my wiper blades started working perfectly fine I had already tried changing the fuse which didn’t look like it was a problem anyways and that did not fix it but replacing the battery lead wire which comes with a current sensor module attached to it fix the problem
