Check on the price for a remanufactured motor, not a rebuild, from a reputable company. I replaced the v6 in a 2003 from Jasper with a reman about 4 years ago. It still purrs like a kitten. It cost about 3500 bucks. If the vehicle is in otherwise good condition make a decision. Replacement vehicles are expensive and more than 3500 bucks.
