I have a 2010 dodge charger sxt I gave a boost to a friend and now my car won't start. The lights inside come on but not the outside.

okay....someone reversed the polarity.....examine the systems to see what and how much damage has been done to your car....there is a "mega-fuse" that will blow (as I recall) and damage could have been easily done to the six alternator diodes...check output of this alternator....should be a regulated 12.5-17 DC volts....not more....not less~ check the voltage at your battery~ could you have toasted the headlight switch? check to see if this is the case~
