i own a 2007 grand cherokee overland 5.7L. does it have an option to deactivate the 4wd?

Ha! Yes, I actually did research when I first bought it and was asking the same question. Coming from a 4X4 Blazer where it was a manual (push button) shift for the transfer, I found it hard to believe that Jeep made their vehicles with full time 4 wheel drive without any way to disable it. It drives more like an all wheel drive only applying power to the wheels that need it. We'll see how it does in the snow this year here in the Northeast.
