Not sure the code just knock sensor 1 and bank 1 ...also I just put a new alternator in a few months ago and my battery light has been on and turns off after a while then it finally died I bought a new battery a few days ago and the battery light was on right away with the new battery I checked wires and connections for shorts nothing ? Any ideas
Probably should have the alternator tested. The knock sensor could pick up engine misses also, at this point without the code number, I don't think the knock sensor needs replacing. There up to $150 I see.

The alternator tested good but I may have to just pull it and test it off the vehicle too but other then that I'm not sure why the battery is still dieing and the light still being on when I put the fresh battery in?
Thats why you should have the alternator tested. The voltage regulator inside the alternator is what turns on the battery light. Once you get this figured out and if the battery still drains, then you would have to check for a parasitic draw. Do you have a digital multi meter to know if the alternator was putting out the 14.5 DCV at the battery? Just wondering how you say the alternator was working.
