Self Maintenance?

I'm young and inexperienced when it comes
to cars. I mean I know how to add oil and
change light bulbs and give my car a wash
and scrub but is there anything else I should
be doing? Like any liquids or anything like
that I should be changing or adding to on a
regular basis?

there are some things but it comes with understanding you car. checking oil, brake fluid, antifreeze, trans fluid. really every thing that you need to know is in the owners manual for the truck. if you dont have on you can find them on ebay and at the dealership or they have a maintance book at many parts places and that is well good for all cars.
I like that you are interested in cars, at least the basic knowledge of what is needed to care for your car. MY HAT IS OFF TO YOU...
PrideAuto gave good advise, start with your car's maintence manual. The Internet also has a wealth of information if you have time to sift through it. Search "Tacoma Maintenance Schedule" and other variations of that. You may also come across a web forum that discusses the quirks and solutions of you particular vehicle. If you choose to tackle the occasional do- it-yourself project these forums and U tube videos make it easier to teach yourself than ever before. Good luck from a fellow backyard mechanic who started where you are 45 years ago, and still enjoys to tinker on my cars.
Let the pros work on your Toyota- if you want to learn how to wrench, get a job in a garage- as an apprentice- start bustin' your knuckles and building up your toolbox- the knowledge you gain will be invaluable-
