2012 Nissan Altima review mirror breaks windshield

I bought my Altima ,in 2016. For the 3rd time I have to have
the windshield replaced because the rearview mirror
(factory installed) keeps falling down and pulling a chunk of
glass out with it. I seldom touch my mirror. I set it and leave
it there. This windshield was replaced just 8 months ago,
and the mirror has pulled out again. It just falls without
even being touched. The bracket comes already attached
to the windshield, so it's not anything I'm doing in that
respect. Anyone had experience with this or have a
solution?

I have a 2015 Altima and my mirror has fallen off three times. Each time it takes a chunk of glass with it. TJ Oklahoma

I have a 2010 Nissan Altima and the mirror has fallen off five times in the last 14 months. The last two times, it has pulled out a chunk of the windshield. I am ready to talk to a Nissan dealer Service manager about getting this fixed once and for all. It's very frustrating. Each time I got it fixed cost be $32. I love the car otherwise.
