Put some tape on your grille nascar style and see if that helps because if it does its your intake getting too much air but your injectors not working hard enough.

The engine is controlled by the computer. You may need to read the computer for codes. It could be the one of the sensors has gone bad. O2 sensor detects the air/fuel mixture but there are also other sensors that monitor engine performance. Without checking the computer for codes, you are just guessing. I would NOT recommend putting tape on your grille.

Put it back to stock and it may run correctly. There really is not much room for improvement unless you have a lot of money to spend. Air intakes are mostly a waste of money.
