I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty that has about 136,000 miles on it. It has received every required servicing including and oil and filter change every 3600 miles. Right now, between servicings I have to put in 1 to 2 quarts of oil. I have asked my service representative, Jake at York Jeep about it and he says that it is just because it is an older car. I have talked to a couple mechanics, who basically said "that's crap" and that if my car has received all its servicings this should not be happening. I have tried about ten camshaft sensors on a Jeep Libert 2002 3.7engine exactly the same and it has not worked, so I want to know what should we do with the vehicle for it to work again? 3 Answers

The original camshaft sensor has been misplaced that is why we have tried many others but the same type but it still does not start the vehicle.
