Question type: Maintenance & Repair

AC does not blow cold air, it doesn't even blow air
from outside, It blows hot air!! So there is a switch
below the ac had no idea what it was for anyhow I
switched it by accident and it seems to be a switch
to manually turn on the ac compressor. What can I
do to fix it the right way? What did they bypass???

They bypassed the A/C compressor switch on the HVAC control in the dash, sometimes this switch is part of the control and can't be changed without changing the whole control assembly, I have been able to clean and realign contacts so remove the HVAC control and take a look. I hope this helps. Take care.
