I was driving my ford explorer and all of a sudden the radio lights outside of car shut off then my windshield wipers started going slow and the truck started puttering not letting me eccelerate can anyone tell me why?

Sounds like your alternator is going out. They will do crazy things when it quits charging. Take it to advance or autozone and they will test it for free.
