must be bad ground...as far as I can see there is nothing else that might cause that~ make sure all connections to the bulb sockets aren't rusted~ sounds like perhaps your battery is not fresh nor connections free of corrosion...check your battery voltage replace if weak~ ...and be sure the cables are fresh and free of corrosion~...and the bulb sockets to...do not be afraid to use a small wire brush~
Why is it only blowing trailer running light fuse if it's battery or bad ground
it's about potential energy...the wiring behaves like a capacitor...and discharges when it gets with potential force to do so~...does that make sense....it's complicated~
Lights will come on when put new fuse in but after a couple of minutes it blows . I took fuse out and jumped terminals and they got hot started to smoke ?
main ground is well connected...that's all I got...good luck!~
fuse blows means a SHORT in the circus~ see what's heatin up and find out what that is connected to...maybe someone dropped somethin' on the connector...such things are not impossible...frequently wires get smooshed in the crack of the door, or undergo a lot of motion~ anyhow find the circuit that connects to that fuse and examine where the shorting occurs...this is dangerous...please tend to that before anything else~
