How long should my rebuilt transmission last??

We bought our 2004 Dodge Neon in 2014. Now, a year later, in 2015
we had to get a rebuilt transmission. Now, we are gentle drivers, using our
car only for local driving. How long should we expect to have this particular
transmission? Thanks, .....

With proper maintenance at least 100,000 miles provided it was rebuilt properly. Why did the first one fail?
