2012 Equinox Coolant Change

Did you try filling the radiator first? If no radiator cap, you could pull the upper radiator hose and fill the radiator that way. In the old days, we removed radiator cap, that's how we checked coolant level, cool engine. We had no coolant reservoir or surge tank. If radiator boiled over, it ran out on the ground. It's possible there is air in the cooling system. There is a bleed procedure. I'll post it if you want it?

Oilyspill will you please post the bleeding procedure for a 2010 equinox... I can't find it anywhere.
